An in-depth reading of a manuscript, evaluating elements such as structure, character development, point of view, etc., along with a detailed revision plan for the author. Best for clients who have been working on a piece for some time and would like a fresh viewpoint as they make revisions.  

An examination of the work at the sentence level to edit for voice, rhythm, detail, syntax, etc. Recommended only for clients who have already written several drafts and are finished with “big-picture” revisions. 

A microscopic check for typos and grammatical errors. Appropriate for final drafts that are ready to submit for publication.

For those clients who want individualized support and instruction as they hone their writing craft – private lessons, in short. The client chooses the focus and frequency of the sessions. The price includes one hour of preparation for the session and a one-hour virtual meeting.
