Five-Week Workshop
If you're interested in honing your craft and supporting others on their writing journey, join Writing in Community! In this multi-genre prose workshop, you’ll improve your writing skills by giving and receiving specific, respectful feedback. You’ll also get accountability, encouragement, and practical support to help you maintain your writing life.
Facilitated by author and Porch instructor Whitney Bryant, Writing in Community will meet every other week for five weeks at Whitney’s home in the Donelson area of Nashville on from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meeting dates will be:

March 3
March 24 (this meeting takes place three weeks after the previous one)
April 7
April 1
Writers of all experience levels are welcome! Each meeting will include generative writing and a short reading related to a specific aspect of craft. In addition to contributing to workshop discussions, participants will be expected to contribute written comments on each other's workshop pieces. Whitney will also provide extensive written feedback for every writer.
Participants may submit up to fifteen pages of their work (double-spaced) at a time.

Cancellation Policy:
- Two weeks or more before the start date: full refund
- Less than two weeks before the start date: refund minus 15% cancellation fee
- Withdrawal after the class has started: refund for the missed classes minus 25% cancellation fee
